“Glowing Secrets: 5 Unconventional Beauty Tips to Revitalize Dry Skin”

Oil Cleansing Method (OCM)

Instead of using traditional cleansers that can strip the skin of its natural oils, try the oil cleansing method. Use a gentle, nourishing oil like jojoba oil or sweet almond oil to cleanse your face. Massage the oil into your skin to dissolve dirt and makeup, then gently wipe it off with a warm, damp cloth. This method helps to cleanse the skin without stripping away moisture, leaving it feeling soft and hydrated.

Honey Mask

Honey is a natural humectant, meaning it helps to attract and retain moisture in the skin. Apply a thin layer of raw honey to your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water. This will help to hydrate and soothe dry skin, leaving it feeling soft and supple.

Hydrating Facial Mists

Keep a hydrating facial mist handy throughout the day to refresh and hydrate your skin. Look for mists that contain ingredients like rose water, glycerin, or hyaluronic acid, which help to hydrate and plump the skin. Spritz your face whenever your skin feels dry or tight for an instant boost of hydration.

Layering Moisturizers

For extremely dry skin, try layering multiple moisturizing products to lock in hydration. Start with a lightweight hydrating serum or essence, then follow up with a rich moisturizer or facial oil to seal in moisture. Finally, apply a nourishing facial balm or sleeping mask as the last step in your skincare routine to provide extra hydration and protection overnight.

Avoid Hot Water

While hot showers and baths may feel comforting, they can actually strip the skin of its natural oils and exacerbate dryness. Instead, opt for lukewarm water when cleansing your face and body, and try to limit your time in the shower or bath to no more than 10-15 minutes. After showering, gently pat your skin dry with a towel and immediately follow up with moisturizer to lock in moisture.

These tips can help to hydrate and nourish dry skin, leaving it feeling soft, smooth, and radiant. Remember to listen to your skin’s needs and adjust your skincare routine accordingly.

Hope… Life… Hope…

“When faced with challenges, choose to build a home with the stones life provides instead of dwelling on their presence. It’s wiser to seek shelter under a roof than to endure homelessness. In times of difficulty, cling to hope; it will bring a glimmer of positivity amid the initial suffering. Persevere and hold on, for the mysteries of life may unfold unexpected blessings in the end.”

Different worlds…?

It has been 2 months since I moved from home and started working, even though I had stayed away from home longer than this. But this is the first time I feel homesick, I lost my glow I feel like I missed my home badly.

I have travelled to many places, and I always blend in smoothly without any hustle. This time it is hard. Adaptation is nowhere near me.

I miss my family
I miss food
I miss people
I miss going around
I miss laughing
I miss smiling

I feel way more lonely now, though I feel like going out and exploring the place I couldn’t I am no longer active nowadays, always feeling sleepy or weak. The awkward truth I haven’t even made one friend in these two months.

I think this may be a different world than mine I am having some adjustment issues, but I am trying to stay positive and blend in as much as I can. But I couldn’t shake off the feeling that I was not being myself.

Sympathy or Empathy…?

Today I have learned about the difference between sympathy and empathy with more technical explanations from how neurons work in our brain to the emotional aspect of humans to other test animals. We all know the difference between both.

After learning it, I kind of figured me an empathic person in more ways but one question kept on popping into my head from morning, will I be able to be this way all my life or will I lose one of the best qualities which makes me kind will vanish as I move on with my life.

It is really fascinating how our brain work all these IQ and EQ differences, feelings, emotions and all the kind of weird things our brain do… But I figured as much as we show kindness or compassion throughout our life at one point it is going to hit the wall, we are going to face someone or something which will shake all our human nature and question ourself some day.

I wish that day would never come and after all, being empathic and feeling about others is not a bad thing or makes us weak actually it makes us strong. After all the only thing which is not gonna cost us anything is to show kindness to others right. Let’s hold on to our kindness and make the world a better place.
